Head of Business Development Strategy and M&A

Requirements
A strong educational background that reflects significant intellectual and analytical ability
At least 3 years work experience with a top management consultancy such as McKinsey or Boston Consulting Group.
5-10 years total work experience
Proven ability to communicate at the highest level and to work smoothly as part of a team of colleagues in the same business.
Proven ability to generate high quality presentations to facilitate input from stakeholders as well as facilitate a final decision making process.
Prove ability to develop and implement financial models of companies with user friendly scenario planning for forecasting purposes.
Fluency in Russian and English.

Responsibilities
Analysis of short and medium term business options for Green Team. The analysis will be used to support both short term micro-decisions (e.g. quantifying the trade-offs in various sourcing models) as well as to support medium term decisions (horizontal vs. vertical expansion and organic growth vs. acquisition).
Preparation of high quality materials to facilitate input from various stakeholders as well as a decision making process
Collection of business ideas from various stakeholders so that they can inventoried and studied as relevant
Deep market research to ensure that Green Team has an accurate understanding of the market in which it operations as well as markets that are nearby from a functional, synergistic and/or geographical point of view.
Play a leading role in M&A transactions. The Head of BD should maintain data base of potential M&A targets so that Green Team is well aware of those companies that it would make sense to acquire, the price that it would make sense to acquire them at and the likelihood of being able to strike a good deal for Green Team at any particular moment in time.
Analysis of company financials, assistance with preparation of financial forecasts, scenario planning, sensitivity analysis and making of recommendations with respect to the monitoring of key financial and other performance indicators

KNOWLEDGE
Good knowledge of civil, commercial, criminal and administrative law, judiciary proceedings codes, judiciary practice, proficient in legal databases such as Liga-Zakon, NAU Court Cases and the Unified State Register of Court Cases, good client communication skills.

Responsibilities
Clients representation within the judiciary proceedings (commercial, administrative and civil litigation) and arbitration;
Drafting lawsuits/counterclaims, appeal and cassation claims/counterclaims within commercial, administrative and civil litigation;
Drafting demanding letters/answers to demanding letters and conducting settlement negotiations on behalf of clients;
Gathering evidences, examining legal data;
Conducting deep legal research and writing litigation strategy;
Monitoring and research of judiciary practice (cases and recommendation documents of the highest courts);
Clients liaison on issues of commercial, administrative and civil litigation;
Preparation of cases for litigation in foreign jurisdictions;
Clients representation within bodies of Ukrainian State Enforcement Office (enforcement proceedings);
Drafting applications on initiation of criminal investigations concerning crimes of clients counterparties and representation of clients as injured person within criminal proceedings (e.g. challenging decisions, activity or inactivity of law enforcements bodies);
Coordination and supervising of paralegals work;
Other duties as may be assigned.
